Very good book, and one I liked even better than the previous book. Twyla is the second daughter and the one with the rebellious personality.

In the last several years she's gotten very tired of her father's and older sister's overprotective tendencies and has done everything she can to break out/5(3). In Rebel Daughter, we are introduced to Long before Betty Friedan's The Feminine Mystique was published, Anderson was writing about abortion, child care, custody arrangements, and pay equity.

Her editorials laid the foundation for the feminist movement in Canada/5. Helena Woulfe, the daughter of a wealthy Exeter nobleman leads a privileged life, however, when rebellion sweeps the West Country, her family is caught in its grip.

After Monmouths bloody defeat in battle at Sedgemoor, Helena sets off for Somerset to find the three missing members of her family/5. The Rebel Daughter and millions of other books are available for Amazon Kindle. Enter your mobile number or email address below and we'll send you a link to download the free Kindle App.

Then you can start reading Kindle books on your smartphone, tablet, or computer - no Kindle device required/5(3). Very good book, and one I liked even better than the previous book. Twyla is the second daughter and the one with the rebellious personality. In the last several years she's gotten very tired of her father's and older sister's overprotective tendencies and has done everything she can to break out/5.

Arabella Stevenson is a 12 year old girl, the daughter of a Barrister. At the beginning of the book, the rebellion has just started. Arabella's father has been arrested and sent to jail for his part in the confrontation. Her 15 year old brother is missing. Arabella's mother cannot cope /5.

Note: each book can be read as a stand-alone. Flora Kinsley has always been a red-headed rebel who delights to ride madly across the country. After being orphaned at age four, she has always had an insatiable desire to run/5(78). The Rabbi's Daughter is a book about carnality, the often uncontrollable desires and appetites of the body, and the religious codes that are used to control them.

It is not for the faint-hearted reader, or for people who prefer to have sex with the lights off, or for those who are offended by open lewdness/5.
